Benefactor to Many, Dies in NY at 57
Max Handler, of 19510 Argyle
Crescent, a beloved figure here in=
many quarters due to the benefac-
tions he conferred on many com-
munity causes, died Aug. 21, in
New York City. He was attending
a prize fight and death occurred
during the intermission.
Funeral services, at which the
city's love for the man was in evi-
dence in the outpouring of people
of all faiths and races, took place
