As the sand in the beach.

NEW YORK (JTA)—Erection of
a new, 500-bed hospital to replace
the old Lincoln Hospital in the
Bronx, and to be affiliated with
the Albert Einstein College of
Medicine of Yeshiva University,
has been authorized by the city,
Mayor Robert F. Wagner announc-
ed. The authorization includes al-
so the construction of another
hospital to be affiliated with Ford-
ham Hospital.
Lincoln Hospital has already
been affiliated with Einstein, but
the institution is 'quite old" and
its facilities for modern practice
are inadequate, according to Dr.
stay Trussell, city Commissioner of
Hospitals.
