JERUSALEM — President Zal-
man Shazar, Prime Minister Levi
Eshkol and other high Israeli of-
ficials and members of the diplo-
matic corps were among the
dignitaries taking part Wednesday
in ceremonies dedicating the newly
built dental school at the Hebrew
University, a gift of the American
Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
The new $2,000,000 structure, the
only major dental training center
in the Middle East, will house the
university's school of destistry and
a research and postgraduate cen-
ter.
In a message read at the cere-
monies, President Lyndon B. John-
son hailed the project as "another
bond of goodwill between the two
nations."
Also taking part in the ceremon-
ies were more than 600 leading
dental educators, scientists and
practitioners from the United
States, South America, Europe and
the Middle East who will partici-
pate in a three-day scientific con-
gress devoted to "changing con-

cepts in dentistry."

Funds for the new building were
raised largely through the efforts
of members of the Alpha Omega
Fraternity in association with the
American and Canadian Friends
of the Hebrew University. A gift

the campaign which enabled the
university to start construction.

"to adopt a firm policy which will
bring an end to boycotts and
