Suspend Supersol Manager; Admits Guilt of Arson TEL AVIV. — Moshe Heyman, controller of Supersoil, Ltd., is ex- pected to appear in court as a state witness when Abraham Fein- berg, the former general manager of that supermarket chain, is brought to trial on charges of ar- son, police authorities said here Tuesday. Earlier reports had said that Heyman was under arrest, but the authorities stated Tuesday he will not be charged with any crime. Feinberg, the American - born head of the supermarket chain, owned largely by Canadian inter- ests, had met with Heyman 24 hours before a fire gutted the Su- persol warehouse and offices here, destroying most of the Supersol records, police said. Feinberg, already suspended from his managerial post by that time, told Heyman of his intention to set fire to the Supersol prop- erty. and asked Heyman to leave the office door open the next night, police said. Heyman had been scheduled to examine the office books the night of the fire. Police said Heyman came forth voluntar- ily to tell what Feinberg had told him. According to the police, Fein- berg, who has confessed to the ar- son charge, has been cooperating fully with the investigators since he had admitted his responsibility for the fire. The investigation, po- lice said, is expected to be con- cluded soon, after which Feinberg will be released under heavy bail. Both Feinberg and Heyman are Detroit-born. Feinberg is now an Israeli citizen. Deny Report Eshkol Planned USSR Visit JERUSALEM (JTA) — Prime Minister Eshkol's office denied categorically foreign press reports that he was considering a trip to Russia to meet with Soviet Premier Khrushchev. Es h k o 1, meanwhile, told a press luncheon that he might meet with West German Chancellor Ludwig Erhard, adding that while he had no definite plans now for such a meeting, "my meeting Chancellor Erhard is not ex- cluded." Asked how he envisaged Israel- West German relations after ter- mination this year of reparations payments to Israel, he said that "as a farmer, I never put the cart before the horse." He also voiced satisfaction with the stand of Afri- can leaders at the recent Egyptian- sponsored African Unity Confer- ence at Cairo who rejected efforts by President Nasser to drag them into the Israel Arab dispute. The Premier also described as satis- factory the status quo of relations of religious and secular elements in Israel. The press reports on the pro- jected Eshkol visit to Moscow said the Premier wanted to follow up his visits to the United States and France this summer with a visit to Russia. The reports said that Yosef Tekoah, Israeli envoy to the USSR, was discussing with Soviet Foreign Ministry officials in Moscow pros- pects for an official invitation to Eshkol. Eshkol's office called the reports "incorrect." Classified ads get quick results!
