The Surf Theater, by popular
demand, has made special arrange-
ments to bring back the showing
of Molly Picon's Yiddish musical
films, "Yiddle with His Fiddle,"
and "Mamele" for one week only

Her initial picture, "Yiddle with
His Fiddle," was the first Yiddish
all-talkie ever made. It set up, vir-
tually overnight, a new industry,
fallowing its Broadway premiere.
"Mamele" packed audiences at the
Continental Theater on Broadway
for two months.
Miss Picon's supporting cast in-
cludes Edmund Zayenda, Gertrude
Bullman, Max Zozyk, Ola Shlifko,
Menashe Opperheim, Symhe Fos-
tel, Max Pearlman, Ruth Turkow,
Lew Schriftzecer, Bax Brin and
Carl Latowich.
Both films have English sub-
titles.
