Shulak, 18050 Fairway, died Monday. He was 59. Dr. Shulak was chief of out- patient neuropsychiatry at Harper Hospital and consultant in neur- ology and psychiatry at Herman Kiefer Hospital, having practiced here since he received his medical degree at Rush Medical College in 1930. Born in Russia, Dr. Shulak lived in Detroit 40 years and was a major in the Army Medical Corps in World War II. He was a member of the Central Neuropsychiatric Society, Phi Delta Epsilon and the American and Wayne County me- dical societies, besides being a fellow of the American Psychiatric Society. Dr. Shulak was a member of Temple Beth El. He is survived by his wife, Ber- nice; a son, Dr. Bruce of Ann Arbor; a daughter, Dr. Jo D. (Mar- lene) Isaacson; three brothers, Harry, Max and Louis; and three grandchildren. Philip Wuntner Dies; Served Michigan as Asst. Attorney General Philip Wuntner, assistant at- torney general for the state of Michigan, died Wednesday at age 57. In charge of the department of revenue and the board of tax appeals, he was a state employe 25 years. He was born in Poland and lived in Detroit 55 years. Mr. Muntner, 19790 Appoline, was a member of Cong. Beth Aaron and its mens club. Past master of Craftsman Lodge, F. & A.M., he also belonged to Detroit Consistory and Moslem Shrine and the Crescent Shrine Club. He was a member of the Detroit and State Bar associations. Survivors are his wife, Ruth; a son, Sanford; a daughter, Mrs. David (Lynn) Engelbert; two brothers, Isadore and Ben; three sisters, Mrs. Leo (Ann) Wein- garden, Mrs. Molly Dinovitz and Mrs. James (Yetta) Weiss; and one grandchild. Bnai David at funeral services for Sheldon Robert Miller, age 14, who died alongside his best friend on the eve of July the Fourth. Sheldon and Francis Patrick Brown, 17, were shot and killed by a still-unidentified assailant while the two neighbor boys played in a Northwest Side park. A $5,000 reward was offered by neighborhood merchants for in- formation leading to the capture of the murderer. The ninth grader often had voiced the hope to become an engineer.
