Common Pleas Court announced
his candidacy for the Recorder's
Court.
Until his appointment to the
bench by Governor Swainson, in
1962, Judge Kent was an assistant
prosecutor for 14 years. He was
elected in April, 1963, for a term
ending in 1966.
Active in Congregation Ahavis
Achim, Israel Bonds and other
causes, Judge Kent has for many
years been a leader in the Demo-
cratic Party here.
