Canadian Mayor Leads in Walkout From an Anti-Semitic 'Seminar' T OR ONT 0, (JTA) — Mayor Leonard C. Jones, Jr., of Moncton, N.B. — a city in the Maritime Pro- vinces of Canada — led 15 other persons in walking out of a "semi- nar" he characterized as anti-Se- mitic, and sent telegrams to lead- ers of the dominion government as well as to top officials of the New Brunswick provincial govern- ment. calling for an investigation of the so-called Christian Action Movement and its publications. The incident occurred when three leaders of the Christian Ac- tion Movement opened the first: of a series of three scheduled meet- ings here. After Jones and the 15 others walked out, the "seminars" were canceled. According • to Jones, the move- ment distributes anti-Semitic arti- cles. Two of the movement's lead- ers, Eric A. Butler and Ron Gostick, also distribute the notorious anti- Semitic canard, "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," Jones said.
