Chicago's Mayor for a Day

From being second vice presi-
dent of Bnai Brith Girls to being
the Mayor of Chicago, Ill., is quite
a step for a 16-year-old girl, but
Judith Axelrod made it — at least
for a day.
Judith was named Honorary
Mayor of Chicago for May 12, mak-
ing her one of two Bnai Brith
Youth Organization members to
serve the Windy City as temporary
officials on that day. The other
was Herbert Bilsky, president-
elect of BBYO's Chicago region,
who was director of the commis-
sion on human relations.
