Young Israel Center Unveils Plans

Ground breaking for the new Young Israel Center of Oak-Woods
is scheduled for midsummer. The present structure (left) will be
completely renovated to contain a remodeled social hall, two kitchens,
checking and rest room facilities, a youth lounge and a suite of offices
comprising the rabbi's study, general and school offices. The bi-level
addition, with a 30-foot-wide lobby and corridor, will house a per-
manent sanctuary on the upper level. The lower level will have five
classrooms, a kindergarten room, club room, library, daily chapel
and additional rest rooms.
