COOLIDGE OAK PARK, MICH. Editor, The Jewish News: As a Jew, I feel that I am as old as life, as young as the rain- boW and as endless as time. My heart beats for every human being and throbs with joy at every tri- umph of peace and of dignity and sacredness of man's soul . . . As a Jew, my interest in life is to help make a better and saner world to live in, and to study and practice the most important ideol- ogy to live by: love your neighbor as yourself, and with malice to no one and with charity to all. And I proudly acknowledge that I am blessed being a Jew and live here in America to be able to worship without any one to inter- fere and enjoy the freedom. of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom of the press. To be an American Jew is the greatest honor any man can wish for, and to me, it is the greatest gift on earth given to mankind. It is with deep appreciation that I pen these words, for it was a rare and wonderful experience. I thought the program was beau- tifully chosen, arranged and exe- cuted . . . In all a delightful evening. A credit to Beth Aaron Synagogue, to the gentleman who chaired this program and to the Jewish com- munity at large.
