project of its kind in operation.
This pilot plant employs a novel
freezing process developed by co-
operative efforts of American and
Israeli techniicans.
Feldman drank with satisfaction
from the waters produced by the
plant. He knew that it offered
hope not only for the Negev but
for many other water-hungry areas
of the v ■ rorld. By the end of this
month, the plant will be produc-
ing in full capacity.
At Sde Boker, Mr. and Mrs.
Feldman visited the Ben-Gurions.
Ben-Gurion reminisced about his
meeting with President Kennedy
in May 1961 and told Feldman it
was among the most treasured rec-
ollections of his long career.

conveyed by Feldman, that Ben-

Immigration to Israel
Zionist Aim — Sharett

LONDON (JTA) — Moshe Shar-

cy executive, called for an all-out
effort in Zionist education to

spora which, he said, leads to a
loss of Jewish distinctiveness. Ad-
dressing the closing session of the
conference of the British Zionist
Federation, Sharett stressed, how-
ever, that the prime purpose of
