20 — Friday, April 17, 1964 — THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Nulynan-Zwick Troth Told in New York Pioneer Women's Council Planning Millionaires' Party to Benefit Youth Launching the first phase of a three-fold program on behalf of World Jewish Child's Day, Mrs. Milton Weiss, president of Detroit Council of Pioneer Women, an- nounces its annual Millionaire's Party 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Labor Zionist Institute. Chairing the first in a series of fund - raising events is Mrs. Norman Leemon, past president of Detroit Council, who stated that Mrs. Leemon this year's event will have a greater variety of booths and diversified foods and homemade pastries. Special attraction will be the awarding of a round-trip ticket to Israel or a $500 U. S. Savings Bond. Other prizes will be given all through the evening. World Jewish Child Day, orig- inally dedicated to commemorate the deaths of 1.5 million Jewish children by the Nazis, now serves as a means of furthering the activ- ities of Pioneer Women's Child Rescue Program for Youth Aliyah.
