At ceremonies Sunday, Temple Emanu-El broke ground
for an addition to the temple, to house eight classrooms and
a youth room, which also will serve as a small chapel. The
latter will be named in memory of a former student, Patricia
Lee Modell. The building is expected to be completed in time
to start religious school in September. Estimated cost of the
addition is $175,000.
