The bride wore a floor-
length gown of pearl luster
peau de sole with a seed pearl-
encrusted Alencon lace front
panel and a chapel train. The
pearl and lace detail was re-
peated in the sabrina neck-
line. Her veil was held by a
peau de soie rose. She car-
ried a Bible covered with or-
chids and Stephanotis.
Joanne Shook was maid of
honor; and bridesmaids were
Ruth Shur, Carol Jean Burns
of Royal Oak and Linda Cohen
of San Francisco. Junior brides-
maid was Jacqueline Eisman.
Best man was Joseph Ruskin,
of North Hollywood, Calif.,
brother of the bridegrooth.
Ushers were Dr. David Weine
of Oak Park; Michell Shur, of
New York, brother of the bride;
Gordon Bossin of Birmingham;
Marvin Berman of Ann Arbor;
Gerald Berman of Cleveland;

Temple Israel's Team
Victors in Pittsburgh
On Sunday the Temple Israel
Debate Team defeated Rodof
Shalom Temple at Pittsburgh.
Upholding the negative, the
Temple Israel team won a 3-0
decision on the subject "Re-
solved, that the Federal Govern-
ment should provide complete
integration in housing." The
Israel team, coached by Manuel
Simon. supervisor, Temple Is-
rael High School, consisted of
Janice Bobroff, Diane Saltz and
Lowell Seyburn.
April 12, Temple Israel Tem-
ple will host the Rodof Shalom
team in Detroit, where the
teams will reverse positions,
with the "home" team uphold-
ing the affirmative of the same
proposition. On that date, the
Temple Israel team will consist
of Rick Oppenheim, Don New-
man, and Diane Pliskow.
