Plants JNF Forest
When Max and Ida Zucker-
wise, of Manhattan, arrived in
Israel a few months ago, an am_
bulance had to be summoned to
take Mrs. Zuckerwise off the
plane at Lydda Airport. She had
suddenly become ill and had to
be taken to the hospital.
The ambulance belonged to
the Israel Red Cross service,
Magen David Adorn, and in
gratitude for the care given by
Magen David Adom, Mr. and
Mrs. Zuckerwise have presented
a new vehicle to the Israel am-
bulance fleet.
The vehicle was dedicated
outside Hotel Oliver Cromwell,
West 72nd St., New York, on
i Sunday, after which 150 friends

Mr. and Mrs. Zuckerwise will
soon make a third trip to Israel
to see their ambulance in serv-
ice and to participate in the
