WOMEN'S

NEW

WEAPON:

FIRE CHEMICAL SPRAY

A new "weapon" called Rebuff
has been developed primarily
for women. to protect them from
purse snatchers, sex maniacs.
murderers—but it can be used
by everyone. Rebuff is a tiny
gadget, not much larger than a
lipstick, which can be "fired"
simply by pressing a button. The
container is filled with a chem-
ical to be aimed toward the eye
of the would-be assailant. One
squirt in one eye is enough.
The chemical is powerful enough
and painful enough to send a
thug running and screaming for

help. One reason this product
appeals to women is that the
damage is only temporary.
Rebuff was originally developed
to stop aggression in animals,
It was tested by doctors at the
University of Georgia, who re-
ported when Rebuff was squirt-
ed into one eye, the recipient
was helpless. But the next day
the eye was in satisfactory con-
dition."
You can buy Rebuff for $1.98.
It can be ordered from W. Reid
Company, 700 Delaware, Detroit
2, Michigan.

Rebuff is approved by the Michigan State Police
