Among the Seminary's lead- ing academicians, Dr. Green- berg is a trustee and member of the executive committee of Institute for Religious and So- cial Studies, a graduate school conducted with the cooperation of Catholic, Jewish and Protest- ant scholars; a member of the executive committee of the In- stitute of Ethics; and a Fellow of the Conference of Science, Philosophy and Religion. He is the author of a number of important books and a series of brochures on the Conserva- tive movement in Judaism. Dr. Greenberg attended the •University of Minnesota, re- ceived his B.A. degree from the •College of the City of New York in 1922 and was ordained at the Seminary in 1925, receiving his Ph.D. from Dropsie College in 1932. He also studied at the Hebrew University, and the American School of Oriental Research in Jerusalem from 1924-25. Denman Jacobson, manager of WWJ, will receive the award for the station, the first NBC outlet in the country to be so honored.
