Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sulkes of Cherrylawn Ave., their son, Sanford, and his fiancee, Anne Simon of Wildwood Ave., Oak Park, spent the Thanksgiving holidays as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Sulkes of Baltimore, Md. A Hanukah family dinner was given by Mr. and Mrs. Sulkes in honor of the engaged couple upon their return. The wife, children and grandchildren of David Schoichit have planted 50 trees in the Israel Freedom Forest in his honor on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Leopold J .Snyder and family had Jumuna Bai of Bombay, India, as guest during their celebration of Hanukah as part of the American Jewish Congress "person-to-person hos- pitality program." Also par- ticipating in the hospitality program are Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Shaman and family of Santa Barbara Dr. They are sharing their home with Guisela Zwirn of Lavalbeja, Uruguay, a teenage student here. The Sherman Family Club will meet Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sherman, 13360 Wales, Huntington Woods. Officers will be elected. Julian R. Ettelson, a trial attorney in the Internal Revenue Service regional counsel's office here, will resign his government career this week to enter private practice in Chicago. His wife, the former Stephanie GlaZer, is the daughter of the late Dr. B. Benedict Glazer, who was spirityal leader of Temple Beth El. The Ettelsons live at 3234 Albert, Royal Oak.
