The bride wore a gown of ivory peau de soie, with round- ed neckline, long sleeves and empire bodice of hand-covered Alencon lace and appliques of pearls, and a fitted cumber- bund of peau de soie. A panel of hand-covered lace was fitted over the detachable chapel train. A circular Spanish man- tilla of matching lace was at- tached to a shoulder pouf veil of ivory silk illusion. The Bible was carried with one white rose. Mrs. Marshal Sandler, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. - Bridesmaids were Eva Dorra, • Linda Bielfield, Sandra Kelly and Susan Sand- ler. Robert Canner, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. This year's goal has beeri set at $150,000. The campaign will be cul- minated with a victory celebra- tion on Jan. 28, according to Mrs. Harry Bodzin and Julius Kahn, council presidents. Moss, special project; Joseph Rodman and Henry Schore, tickets; Jack Sayles, program; Harry Kaufman, editor; Thomas Zohott and Mrs. Betty Schwartz Named to Direct OP Mother's March An Oak Park businesswoman, according to Al Kaline, general campaign chairman for the Oak- land County March of Dimes, will serve both as area and Mothers' March chairman in 1964. Mrs. Betty Schwartz, 14180 Balfour, president of the Tyme Furniture Co., will have charge of business solicitations in her area, as well as direct the hun- dreds of volunteer women who will take part in the annual march on Jan. 28. She will also be in charge of special fund raising events in her community. She has served for several years in various capacities "be- cause the cause is good". In ad- dition to her business career and charity work, Mrs. Schwartz is active in school work and has been an officer of the Women's Club. The Oakland County chapter has spent $3,359.37 in direct aid to seven patients this year. There are 22 more eligible for assistance should they need it.
