of Sinai's Shapero School Board

At the annual meeting of the
board of trustees of Sinai Hosp-
ital Shapero School of Nursing,
the following officers were
elected for 1963-64:

The Edgewater Convalescent
Center, 22811 W. Seven Mile,
has announced the association
of Stuart E. Walker as consul-
tant and director of public rela-
tions.
He was formerly assistant di-
rector of the Greater Detroit
Area Hospital Council, of which
he is founder.
The convalescent center, a
three story structure designed
for maximum patient comfort
and care, can accommodate 94
residents. The staff includes a
physician and nurses on 24-hour
duty. Facilities include consulta-
tion rooms, provisions for oxy-
gen therapy, hydraulic lift de-
vices, alternating pressure pads,
a pharmacy, physiotherapy, lab-
oratory and X-ray departments.
A dietitian prepares special
needs according to the require-
ments of the patients. A chapel
is provided for private prayer
and special services. Planned
programs and activities are en-
hanced by recreation areas in-
side and outside the building.
