Clarice Freud in Distinction Series

Section, National Council of
Jewish Women will present Clar-
ice Freud as principal speaker
at the paid-up membership
luncheon on Dec. 2 at Temple
Beth El. Admission is limited
to paid-up members. Reserva-
tions must be made.
Miss Freud, a member of
Council, is professor of sociolo-
gy at the University of Michigan
and is chairman of the Michigan
Youth Commission. She has been
a member of the Commission
since it was formed in 1949 and
its chairman since 1957. Current-
ly, at Governor Rotnney's re-
quest, the Commission is pre-
paring a blueprint of services
and programs needed to protect
"vulnerable" children and youth.
A film presentation is also
