make the forthcoming banquet
for Bar-Ilan University the out-

of these undertakings.
The annual Bar-Ilan banquet
will be held at the Shaarey
Zedek on Nov. 26.
Irwin I. Cohn, general dinner
chairman for the Nov. 26 event,
who was host at Wednesday's
dinner, said that the dedication
of the dinner in honor of Mes-
dames Joseph H. Ehrlich and
Theodore Bargman is in itself
cause for the widest participa-
tion because recognition will be
given to Detroit's most distin-
guished leaders.
"We have much more to be
concerned with," Cohn said.
"We are partners in a great ven-
ture—the advancement of high-
er education in Israel. Through
the annual dinners we sponsor
for the Bar-Ilan University we
secure funds to make it possible
for a great school to advance
Jewish learning and at the same
time increase scientific knowl-
edge. It is a privilege for us to
share in this effort and we
should enroll all the partici-
pants we possibly can to assist
in this great work."
