Gabriel Chodos, son of Rabbi Chodos of Los Angeles, is pres- ently a member of the faculty of the school of music of the University of Oregon. Winner of the California Best Pianist of the Year Award and the Pasa- dena Pianist Auditions, he has performed with the Pasadena Symphony Orchestra and has been acclaimed at many re- citals. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate from UCLA, Chodos studied piano under noted teachers. Under auspices of Uni- versity Professor, Dr. John M. Dorsey, Ginsberg spoke at three session s, reading his poems and explaining the new trends in poetry. Dr. and Mrs. Dorsey were hosts at a dinner in Ginsberg's honor. Dr. Dorsey read selec- tions from the poet's works and the poet spoke and elaborated on poetry and American poets during a question period.
