Isaac Franco, his wife Judith and son Joseph are shown after
landing at Idlewild on the last leg of their journey from the
Congo for reunion with Mr. Franco's brother and family in
Atlanta. The Francos had been living in Elisabethville for
more than 20 years. When trouble erupted in 1960, they con-
sulted with a migration specialist of United Hias Service, the
worldwide migration agency, who had been sent from New
York to offer migration aid to members of the Jewish com-
munity. Mr. Franco will become a member of the teaching
staff of the Hebrew Academy of Atlanta. The Jewish Family
& Children's Bureau of that city will help him and his family
adjust to their new life.
