J. Kalman.
Congregations which held
their appeals on Rosh Hashanah
included Young Israel of Oak-
Woods, $16,150; Mishkan Israel,
$10,100; Young Israel of Green-
field, $6,100; Beth Yehudah,
$5,500, and Bnai Jacob, $4,200.

Moves to Oak Park

Cong. Bnai Israel has relocated
to 15400 W. Ten Mile, Oak Park,
announces newly-elected Presi-
dent Ernest L. Citron.
Citron succeeds Albert Sha
piro, former Detroit Police De-
partment Insspector and superin-
tendent of the Detroit House of
Correction, who was elected an
honorary lifetime president of
the syfiagogue.
Other officers are Arnold Car-
men, vice-president and gabai;
L. Plotnik, secretary; and Henry
Citron, treasurer. Rabbi Israel
Flom was re-elected as spiritual
leader and given a 10-year con-
tract. The synagogue is part of a
center which operates a day
school accommodating 200 chil-
