Arrangements Made for Selichot,
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur

Detroit area congregations
have announced arrangements
for observance of Selichot
(most services scheduled for
midnight Saturday) and the
High Holy Days of Rosh Hash-
hanah and Yom Kippur. Wor-
shipers should contact their re-
spective synagogues and temples
for exact times of services, as
individual schedules may vary.

BNAI MOSHE: Cantor Louis
Klein and the Men's Choir will
chant at Selichot services. At
Rosh Hashanah services, Rabbi
Lehrman will speak on "Our
Destiny, Which Way?" Thurs-
day, and "What Shall We
Seek," Friday. Separate junior
congregation services will be
held in the chapel, board room
and classrooms for the several
age levels under the supervision
of trained counselors.

CONG. BETH MOSES:
Rabbi Schnipper's Selichot
sermon will be "Journey into
Life." Rosh Hashanah ser-
mons will be "The Shofar and
Creation," T h u r s d a y, and
"Rock and Roll Pattern of
Life," Friday.

CONG. BNAI DAVID: Rabbi
Donin will speak and Cantor
Adler, accompanied by the
choir, will chant the • Selichot
liturgy. Advance reservations
for attendance at this service
is not necessary. At Rosh Has-
hanah services, Rabbi Donin
will speak on "Lessons From
the Shofar," Thursday, and
"Ideals in Action," Friday.
Cantor Adler, accompanied by
a 20-voice choir, will chant the
Musaph services and Mordechai
Adler will lead in the Schach-
ris services. Children's services
will be conducted in the chapel.
TEMPLE BETH EL: Rabbi
Hahn and Dr. Hertz will preach
at Rosh Hashanah services.
