engagement of their daughter,
Janet Cyrel, to Andrew I.
K oh e n, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Benjamin Kohen, 18611 Pine-
burst. The bride-elect is a jun-
ior at Wayne State University.
Her fiance is a graduate of
Wayne State's Monteith College,
where he received honorable
mention in the Woodrow Wilson
Fellowship competition. He will
begin graduate work in the fall
at Yale University on a four-
year scholarship.

At a candlelight ceremony on
June 26 at the Sheraton-Cadillac
Hotel, Carol Joan Stein, daugh-
ter of Dr. and Mrs. Emory Stein
of Monica Ave., was united in
marriage to Michael Davidson
Bloom, son of Dr. and Mrs.
Herbert J. Bloom of Cumber-
land Way. Dr. Leon Fram and
Rabbi Sherwin Wine officiated.
The bride wore a Priscilla of
Boston gown of ivory peau de
soie, fashioned with a rounded
neckline, Alencon lace empire
bodice, and a dome-shaped shirt
with a deep hemline of the
matching lace. Her pouf veil of
ivory silk illusion was attached
to a miniature peau de soie rose.
She carried a nosegay of stepha-
notis and ivy.
Linda Ann Stein, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor. Mrs.
Neal Schechter was matron of
honor. Bridesmaids were Linda
Sue Bloom, the bridegroom's
sister; and Nina Hauser. Ann
and Ellen Rosman, eight-year-old
twin .cousins of the bride, were
junior bridesmaids.
Stephen Bloom, the bride-
groom's brother, served as best
man. Seating the guests were
Lt. Ronald Stein, brother of
the bride; Lawrence Danto, Dale
Rands, Stuart Bloom, Martin
Chattman and Paul Rubenstein.
The couple will reside in Ann
Arbor where the bridegroom will
continue his studies at the Uni-
versity of Michigan Dental
School.

Mr. and Mrs. Irving Herbert
Grossman, of 17151 Cherry-
lawn, announce the engagement
of their daughter, Marcia Lynn,
to Charles Orr Buckholz, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Buck-
holz, of 44 Miller Street, Mt.
Clemens. The bride-elect is a
graduate of Wayne State Uni-
versity, and is affiliated with
Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority and
Pi Lambda Theta. Her fiance
is a graduate of Eastern Mich-
igan University and plans to
attend the Chicago College of
Osteopathy this fall. Both will
receive their Master's degrees
from the University of Michigan
in August. An August 18 wed-
ding is planned. The couple will
reside in a suburb of Chicago.

mony performed by Rabbis

The newlyweds are the chil-
dren of Dr. and Mrs. Martin
Naimark of Canterbury Rd. and
Dr. and Mrs. Howard B. Appel
man of Huntington Woods.
The bride wore a gown of
white silk organza over taffeta
with a mandarin collar of chan-
tilly lace, bracelet-length poufe
sleeves edged in chantilly lace,
fitted bodice of tiny tucks and
a bell-shaped skirt which fell
into a chapel train. Her head-
dress was a pill box hat of silk
organza with a shoulder-length
poufe veil of white silk illusion.
She carried an arrangement of
stephanotis on her confirmation
Bible.
Jill Naimark served her sis-
ter as maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Marsha Delidow,
Paula Levy and Barbara Siegal
of Chicago, cousin of the bride-
groom.
David Appelman served his
brother as best man. Ushers
were Sam Apfelblat, A l v in
Delidow, Larry Matlin and
Leonard Siegal of Chicago.
