Jewish Victims Urge
Indemnification Law
WASHINGTON, (JTA) — A
delegation representing Jewish
victims of Nazi persecution
called on Georg von Lilienfeld,
Minister of the West German
Embassy, to urge that Germany
expedite and broaden a new
German indemnification law to
benefit Hitler's victims.
The delegation, headed by
Moses Socachevsky, the group's
president, and Felix Lasky, its
secretary, stressed the need for
inclusion of Eastern European
victims in the indemnification,
the re-opening of disability
cases, and designation of more
physicians to issue final certi-
ficates of disability with crea-
ton of facilities outside of New
York City to serve victims now
residing in other cities.
