Louis Lasky Dies
Louis Lasky, president of the
Lasky Furniture Co., died June
9. He was 69.
Mr. Lasky, 2510 W. McNich-
ols, operated his business at
Davison and Jos. Campau for 37
years. He was the sponsor of
the original Hamtramck semi-
professional championship foot-
ball team, was a member of the
Furniture Club, the Franklin
Hills Country Club and a char-
ter member of Knollwood Coun-
try Club.
Surviving Mr. Lasky are his
wife, Doris; brothers, Charles
and Bernard; and sisters, Mrs.
Bertha Berman and Mrs. Ella
Gittleman.
