Mrs Sarah Goldman

A member of a number of
communal organizations, Mrs.
Sarah Goldman died May 31
leaving 39 great grandchildren.
She was 92.
Mrs. Goldman, 15130 James,
Oak Park, had been active in
the Yeshivath Beth Yehuda,
Yeshivah Chachmey Lublin, Bi-
cur Cholem Organization, Lech-
em Aneeim and the Jewish
Home for Aged.
Survivors include four daugh-
ters, Mrs. Carl Arfa, Mrs. Nate
Goldman, Mrs. Louis Silver-
man and Mrs. Joseph Lieberoff;
and 16 grandchildren.

20 years, Dr. Carl Gussin, 18953
Stansbury, died May 31. He was
52.
A native of Detroit, Dr. Gus-
-sin was graduated from Alma
College and the University of
Detroit School of Dentistry. He
is remembered by many as an
outstanding Michigan athlete,
winning recognition in the
MIAA as a star of the gridiron
and basketball court. He also
played professional basketball.
Dr. Gussin served as a cap-
tain in the .U.S. Army for four
years during World War II. He
was a member of Daylight
Lodge, F&AM, and the Alpha
Omega Dental Fraternity.
Surviving Dr. Gussin are his
daughter, Cindy; and two sis-
ters, Mrs. Morris E. Bachman
and Mrs. Leo Orecklin.
