Aronsson Elected
a V-P of Howell
Maurice Aronsson has been
elected vice president of finance
and to the board of directors
of Howell Industries, Inc., it
was announced today by Nathan
Freedland, president of Howell.
Aronsson is chairman of the
board of Aronsson Printing
Company.
Herbert Freedland also was
elected to the board and will
serve as treasurer of Howell.
Howell recently purchased
the bicycle, velocipede and
wheel goods division of Evans
Products Co. of Plymouth.
, Marketed under the name of
Evans Cycle, a division of
Howell Industries, wheel prod-
ucts are • manufactured in West
Branch and Mt. Clemens.
Founded in 1956 by Nathan
Freedland, Howell Industries
also manufactures diversified
stampings, and automotive and
military. defense assemblies.
Other plants are located in De-
troit, Lapeer and Marysville.
J. Snyder, who will be serving
her second term as president of
the AJC Women's Division.
Division vice-presidents for the
season are Mesdames Philip
Rader, Herman Karmann, Theo-
dore Rosen, Milton Schwartz,
and Aaron Shifman. Mrs. Wil-
liam Cohen will serve as install-
ing officer.
Admission is by a $2 donation
to the Louise Wise Memorial
Youth Hostel in Jerusalem. New
members for the 1963-64 season
and members who bring a mem-
ber are invited as guests.
