Jewish Library Body
Convenes in Cleveland

The Jewish Library Associa-
cion will hold its convention
June 2-5 at the Statler-Hilton
Hotel in Cleveland. Theme of
the one-year-old association's
parley is "Better Jewish Librar-
ies With Better Service."
The organizition represents
all branches of Judaism. It was
founded largely through the in-
spiration of Miriam Leikind,
librarian at The Temple, Uni-
versity Circle and Silver Park,
Cleveland. Among the speakers
at the convention will be Her-
bert C. Zafren of the Hebrew
Union College Library in Cin-
cinnati, and Rabbi Goodman,
associate editor or the National
Jewish Welfare Board Circle.
