tion in the July Fourth Oak Park

FIGHTERS will hold conference

nal musical revue by the Van-
guard Theater, "Looking For-
ward," at a luncheon 12:30 p.m.
May 6 at the synagogue. Head-
ing the cast will be Robert

tor and director at Vanguard.

Nancy Wayburn. Proceeds from
the event will be used for beauti-
fication projects of the syna-
gogue which have been under-
written by the sisterhood. Plan-

Joan Hoffman, Susan Foster
and Rebecca Garfinkel will par-
ticipate in the two public per-
formances of the Northeast Re-
gional Ballet Festival featuring
nine ballet companies 8:30 p.m.
May 3 and 4 at Ford Auditorium.
The Detroit City Ballet Com-
pany participate in both concerts.
Felix Resnick will conduct mem-
bers of the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra. Mrs. Samuel Hoffman
and Mrs. Morris Rogoff are among
those planning the festival. For

Harold Weisberg. The event is
under the direction of Mrs. Mil-
ton Mellin, vice-president and
chairman of the board. Prizes
will be awarded. Tickets will be

Sheruth League has begun in-
terviewing families for chil-
dren's scholarships to camps
Tamarack, Ortonville and Brigh-
ton. The League will supply

performance of "How To Succeed
In Business Without Really Try-
ing" on May 5 at the Fisher
Theater to raise funds for the
sanctuary now under construc-
tion, it was announced by Mrs.
Sidney Pianin, chairman. For

cobs. The theater party will cul-
minate observance of the
synagogue's 10th anniversary.

Holds Annual Lunch

The Detroit Section, National
Council of Jewish Women, will
hold its annual luncheon Wednes-
day at the Town and Country
Club, announced Mrs. Ben Wein-
traub, in charge of arrangements.
