daughter of Leah Deganit, Israeli
folksinger, and Moshe Halevy,
founder and director of the first
Israeli theater," "Ohel," after
which she was named. After serv-
ing in the Israeli army, she join-
ed "Tchizbatron," the Army's
most famous entertainment unit.

urged individuals and organiza-
tions to reserve the date and to
participate in this demonstration
of support of the new state.
