A Happy Passover
—Photo, courtesy Jewish Theological Seminary Museum, shows famous Seder plate from
Fayence, Pesaro, Italy, dated 1614. One of 13 plates of this kind were preserved. They were
made by an Italian family named Cohen-Asucny. The figural representations show the
Passover meal, Jacob revealing himself to his brothers, Moses, Aaron, David and Solomon.
