Allegheny Sector, Women's ORT,
Will Hold 2-Day Conference Here

The Allegheny Sector of
Women's American ORT will
hold a two-day conference noon
Sunday through Monday after-
noon at the Sheraton-Cadillac
Hotel.
The planning session will be
attended by 40 national board
members from Atlanta, Miami,
Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, Cleve-
land, Cincinnati, Toledo and
Detroit.
The Michigan Region of 2,000
members will meet ORT's na-
tional officers 8:15 p.m. Monday
at Temple Israel. Mrs. Nathan
H. Schlafer, Michigan Region
president, will preside.
Distinguished guests will be
Mrs.. Max M. Rosenberg, na-
tional president; Mrs. Monroe
Rosenthal, vice-president of

membership; Mrs. Samuel Kre-
vit, national chairman of struc-
ture and organization; and Na-
than Gould, national executive
director.
The gathering will also be ad-
dressed by Dr. William Haber,
professor of economics at the
University of . Michigan and
president of the World ORT
Union.
Ninety members of the execu-
tive committees of the 13 De-
troit chapters and the Michigan
Region officers will attend an
all-day conference Tuesday at
the home of Mrs. Harold Frank,
18666 Fairway. Mrs. Rosenthal
and Mrs. Krevit will lead the
round table discussion. Mrs. Irv-
ing Kurtz will be chairman of
the day. Luncheon will follow.
