Cornfeld's 'Daniel to Paul' Continues
Research in Ancient World Literatures

In "Daniel to Paul," pub-
lished by Macmillan, Gaalyahu
Cornfeld continues the monu-
mental task of reviewing the
background of Biblical history.
Begun. with "Adam to Daniel,"
the sequel, like its predecessor
edited by Cornfeld with the
assistance of Bible scholars,
historians and archaeologists,
continues to trace the person-
alities, events and literatures
of the ancient world.
Thd first volume dealt with
Old Testament history, the
present one is concerned with
the additional works of the
Hebrew Bible that were not
covered in the first book and
conclude with New Testament
studies. World famous Christian
scholars assisted in the new
study, "Daniel to Paul."
This large book leans con-
siderably upon archaeological
findings. It places much stress
on the findings in the . Dead
