Detroit Leaders Among Delegates at UJA Institute

Mrs. Lee Franklin Weinstock, attorney and Citizens for Mich-
igan leader, has been invited to summarize the proposed Con-
stitution for Michigan at the Wednesday noon luncheon meet-
ing of Northwest Kiwanis, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on
W. Seven Mile Road.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davis, 24040 Rensselaer, Oak Park, are
spending a two-week vacation in the Miami, Fla., area.
Mrs. Harry L. Jones was honored Tuesday, at a luncheon
meeting of the Women's Advertising Club held at the Veterans
Memorial Building. An award presented to her was in recognition
of her many servies to community movements.
Mr. and Mrs. Marcees Ronis of Plainview Rd. have returned
home after visiting their sons, David and Ben, in Washington,
D.C., and Silver Springs, Md.
The children of Meyer and Sarah Littky surprised their
parents with a 35th wedding anniversary party at their home
on Monte Vista Ave. Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs.
Abe Berk and Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Posner, all of Lansing, and
Dr. and Mrs. Howard Bloom, Mr. and Mrs. William Firestone
and son, Martin Jay, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lustig and daughter,
Ellen Marla, all of Toronto.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Hack of Santa Monica Ave. have re-
turned to their Colifornia home after a motor trip to Tucson, Ariz.
The Tucson Shoe Retailers Association celebrated Mr. Hack's 79th
birthday at its fifth annual Ripple Sole Shoe Week and honored
him with a luncheon meeting at the Old Pueblo Club. He was
also the guest speaker at the weekly meeting of the Tucson Retail
Trade Bureau and also at the Lions Club.

Chicago to attend the United
Jewish Appeal's midwest lead-
ership institute, March 8-10, at
Edgewater Beach Hotel.
Albert B. Adelman of Mil-
waukee is chairman of the re-
gional conference scheduled to
set the 1963 fund-raising goals
of more than 150 Jewish com-
munities, including Michigan's,
in support of the United Jew-
ish Appeal's nationwide cam-
paign for $96,000,000.
The conference also will
mark the United Jewish Ap-
peal's 25th year of rescue, re-
habilitation and resettlement
work on behalf of overseas
Jewry.

annual Antique Fair and Art

Temple.

collection of watches and clocks
are some of the items to be
shown, according to Mrs. Nor-
