calling themselves "Young Art-
ists" will present today at the
Detroit Institute of Musical
Arts, 5330 John R., a variety
show featuring songs and
dances from current Broadway
musicals, i.e. "Oliver," "King
and I," "Flower Drum Song"
and piano selections of Chopin,
Bach and Handel.
All proceeds from this per-
formance will be given to the
Foundation.
Starred in this production are
Norman Borman, 14, director;
Lynn Brod, 12; Bruce Hack, 14;
Elaine Metier, 13; Eric Oppen-
heim, 14; Jan Shook, 12; Sheryl
Silver, 12; Mark Shubow, 14;
Laurie Sparage, 12; and Rich-
ard Winkler, 14. Piano accom-
panist is Mrs. I. Buchalter.
Ed Sparage, an officer of the
Children's Leukemia Founda-
tion, and Mrs. Harry S. Brown,
who heads the Foundation, have
helped with arrangements. Al-
vin Shubow supplied the nec-
essary materials for scenery
and helped- to create backdrops.
This young group of artists are
members of the Interlochen Na-
tional Music Camp.

chairman for the Women's Aux-
iliary of Jewish National Fund,
announces that the annual mem-
bership meeting, March 19 at
the Beth Aaron Synagogue, will
feature Robert Garelick of the
Garelick Gallery.
He will present an illustrated
talk on "Art Collecting for the
Home." Garelick will bring ex-.
amples of painting and graphics.
