Purim will be observed at the
United' Hebrew Schools in a
carnival atmosphere.
For weeks now the children
have been studying the story of
Ptu.im, and to celebrate the
occasion all branches have
planned something special. Stu-
dents, their families and friends
may attend one or more of
these interesting events.
On Tuesday, 3:30 to 6:30, Oak
Park branch will present a car-
nival at the Bnai Moshe Syna-
gogue on 10 Mile. Children may
have their dinners here and en-
joy games and movie cartoons.
Adas Shalom students will
have their carnival Wednesday,
3:30 to 5:30, with games at 15
booths, food for dinner or
snacks, and prizes for children
in costumes.
On Thursday, a Purim pro-
gram will be presented at Beth
Abraham branch.
The same afternoon, Livonia
students at the new Cohn
branch will participate in a
Purim program.
Esther Berman branch has a
carnival planned for Sunday,
March 10.
Monday, March 11 Borman
students will greet Purim with
a carnival from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
Everyone who comes. in cos-
tume will receive a prize.
Winding up the Purim sched-
ule for the United Hebrew
Schools is the carnival at Beth
Aaron branch, Tuesday, March
12, 3:30 to 5:30.

brew-Yiddish Shule invites the
community to attend a Purim
carnival 1 p.m. March 10 at
the Labor Zionist Institute.
Each child will receive "Sha-
lach Manot," along with noise-
makers and refreshments. There
will be a buffet for adults.
Songs and entertainment will
be presented with the coopera-
tion of the leadership of Habo-
nim.
A school board meeting will
be held 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at
the Labor Zionist Institute, ac-
cording to Ben Harold, chair-
man.

Purim carnival 10:30 a.m. March

ceded by the reading of the
