Investigate German
Officials Who Made
Anti-Semitic Remarks

WEST BERLIN, (JTA)-The
Berlin senate disclosed that.
Henry Hirte, a civil servant in
the senate's education depart-
ment, had been temporarily sus-
pended from office for having
made anti-Semitic remarks.
Informed sources said he
would probably be suspended in-
definitely and face court pro-
ceedings. He was in charge of
the Department of Schools.
Court officials in Kiel indi-
cated that an official investiga-
tion would be started into re-
ports that Heinrich Krause, a
district _court judge here, made
anti-Semitic - remarks in a res-
taurant. The remarks were ini-
tially reported by some of Judge
Krause's colleagues to the
court president, who in turn in-
formed the Schgeswig-Holstein
Justice Ministry which is ex-
pected to make an official in-
vestigation.
