The Chaim Weizmann Society
will install officers at its annual
banquet Sunday at the Young
Israel Center in Oak Park.
Those to be installed are
Louis Rosenberg, president; Mrs.
Jake Sherman, vice-president;
Peter Bietman, treasurer; Louis
Katz, Louis H. Bogrow, secre-
taries. Committee appointments
will be made- Sunday.
Main speaker at the banquet
will be Rabbi Israel I. Halpern
of Beth Abraham Synagogue.
Toastmaster will be Aaron Rosen-
berg, attorney and humorist.

Finals in the Michigan Inter-
City Basketball League will be
held 7 p.m. Saturday at the Jew-
ish Center.
A party for all players will
follow at the Center and awards
will be presented. There is no
charge for the games and the
public is invited. The Jewish
Center team closed the season
with the best record, 10 wins
against no losses.
