Mrs. M. H. Zackheim Dies at 79; Funeral Services This Morning Mrs. Maurice H. (Rebecca) Zackheim, 3960 W. Outer Dr., one of Detroit's most active par- ticipants in many movements, died Thursday at the age of 70. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 this morning at Kauf- man Chapel. Surviving her are her hus- band, one of Detroit's most eminent Zionists and Talmudic scholars; a son, Dr. Herschel Zackheim; a brother, Jack Kreinson of Elmira, N.Y.; and three grandsons. Born in Titusville, Pa., Mrs. Zackheim lived here for nearly 150 years. The Zackheims would have been married 50 years next July. Mrs. Zackheim's numerous af- filiations included Hadassah, the Sisterhood of Shaarey Zedek, the United Hebrew Schools, Na- tional Council of Jewish Women and other local and national movements.
