He was graduated from Ohio State Uni- versity with a degree in busi- ness administration. After gaining experience in his father's oil business, in 1933 he was one of the founders of Aurora Gasoline Co. in which he served as executive vice president. In 1957 he advanced to chairman of the board of Aurora which in 1959 became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marathon Oil. Fisher now serves as a direc- tor of the American Petroleum Institute and is a member of the 25 Year Club of the Petroleum Industry. He holds a major in- terest in the Fisher-New Center Company, the firm which re- cently purchased the Fisher Building, is vice chairman of the board of United Foundation and was general chairman of UF's 1961 Torch Drive.
