Suzanne Lewis became the
bride of Morton Klasmer in an
evening ceremony performed re-
cently by v Dr. Leon Fram and
Cantor Harold Orbach at the
home of the bride's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Benjamin Lewis of W.
Outer Dr.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mrs. Benjamin Klasmer of Balti-
more, Md., and the late Mr.
Klasmer.
The bride wore a gown of
ivory peau de soie with an ap-
plique of re-embroidered Alen-
con lace on the skirt. Her
shoulder-length veil cascaded
from a _single silk rose.
Mrs. Sheldon Plotnick served
her sister • as matron of honor.
Donald Silver of Baltimore was
best man.
The newlyweds planned to re-
side in Arlington, Va., following
their honeymoon.
The 35th birthday celebration
of the League of Jewish Wo-
men's Organizations of Greater
Detroit will be held at noon
Monday at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.

Mrs. Albert Kaplan and Mrs.
Bertram Kaatz,

the Arts and Crafts School.
Dessert luncheon will be serv-
ing the Catholic Ecumenical
Conference to which he was an
invited observer of the Jewish
faith.
Mrs. Martin Naimark, presi-
dent of the League, invites the
community to attend.
Mrs. Davis Benson, president
of the Shaarey Zedek Sister-
hood, will deliver the invoca-
tion. Mrs. Morris Brandwine will
speak for the Women's Division
of the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion campaign 1963.
Also featured at this meeting
will be displays depicting the
growth of the many affiliated
organizations of the League.
