Edwin Guggenheim, European President of Bnai Brith, Dies ZURICH, Switzerland, (JTA) —Dr. Edwin Guggenheim, pres- ident of Bnai Brith's continen- tal European district, died here Dec. 28. He was 68. A prominent Zurich attorney, he was active in restoring Bnai Brith in Europe following its destruction by the Nazis during World War II. Dr. Guggenheim helped re-establish Bnai Brith in 10 countries. In 1955 he was elected president of the Eur- opean district chartered that year by Bnai Brith. He held the post until his death.
