Mr. and Mrs. David A. Goldman and their children, Paula
and Alan, formerly of Briarcliff Rd. are now residing in their new
home on Millbrook Rd., Farmington.
Mrs. Kenneth. Sachs, 13125 Victoria, Huntington Woods, is
serving as 25th anniversary March of Dimes chairman for her
community. Ferndale chairman is „Attorney Henry A. Schiffer,
1066 Withington ave., and Oak Park chairman is David D. Silver-
man, 21961 Harding, owner of Dave's Party Snack Shack. They
will ask their fellow residents to "Give for the Life of a Child"
during the month of January.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Weingart, 14837 W. Seven Mile, celebrated
their 25th wedding anniversary recently at the 27th annual ban-
quet of the Bialistoker-Western Aid Society.
The Silver Family Club will hold a Hanukah party 4 p.m.
Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Davidson, 19424
Stratford. Supper will be served for 16 children and 34 adults.
The Cornfield Family Club will hold its annual Hanukah
party, 1 p.m. Sunday at the Lutzker. Hall, 15775 James Couzens.
Refreshments and games will be provided.
Mrs. Dellis Harwith was hostess to the Northwest Chapter
Board of the American Jewish Congress at a luncheon honoring
the recently installed president, Mrs. Edward Rothenberg. The
members of the board are Mesdames Aaron Shifman, M. Schwartz,
George Golden, Morris Kraft, Marvin Weckstein, Norman Snyder,
H. Amdur, Arnold Kass, Dellis Harwith, Albert Tanner, Louis
Zuckerman, Melvin Nord, Arnold Frank, Daniel Shapiro and Miss
Ida Blucher.
Mrs. Sara Reisman will be honored on her 91st birthday
at a family party at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Max Steiner,
18482 Roselawn this Saturday night.
The Beth Moses Senior U. S. Y. will be represented at the
United Synagogue Youth Convention in Chicago Dec. 28-30. Max
Pleasant, chairman of Youth Commission, has announced that
Judy Kovan, Gloria Pleasant and Stanley Skupsky have been
selected as the Youth Group delegates.
The Sherman Family Club will celebrate its 15th anniversary
with a Hanukah latke party 8:30 p.m. Dec. 30 at the home of Mrs.
Philip (Jane) Zaks, 20516 Audrey. Gifts will be exchanged.
Officers to be installed are Mrs. Israel Levenstein, president;
Mrs. Philip Sherman, vice-president; Mrs. Edward Sherman and
Johanna Meyers, secretaries; Jean Lorber, treasurer; and Mrs.
Aubrey Gordon, sergeant-at-arms.
The Neuman-Bean Family Club will meet Sunday at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bean, 19459 Mendota. Movies of
their European trip will be shown.

annual donor event, which will

Mrs. Wishnetsky announced
that income from this year's
donor will go towards the adopt-
ed local JNF project for the de-
velopment of the villages of
Gadot and Mishmar Hayarden.
The Women's Auxiliary, she
stated, is undertaking to raise
$150,000 towards this project.
The two villages to be devel-
oped are located on the banks of
the Jordan River at the Israel-
Syrian border.
