Message from the Chairman:

I congratulate and commend all our volun-
teers, committees and contributors who have
made the Detroit Israel Histadrut Campaign
a model for all AMerica. May this year's
Campaign distinguish itself by adding an-
other chapter in Detroit's outstanding effort
over the years to help the young State of
Israel defend itself against those seeking its
total destiuction, and to help Israel 'in its
struggle to solve the many crucial internal
social and economic problems. All of us
pledge ourselves to seek the fulfillment of
our great ideal- a strong, democratic state
of Israel.
