CITY OF HOPE MEDICAL AND TREATMENT WORLD RENOWNED

THE CITY OF HOPE IS A FREE, NONSEC-
TARIAN NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER de-
voted to a three-pronged frontal assault on
specific diseases — Cancer, Leukemia, Hodg-
kin's Disease, Tuberculosis and Heart Ailments
amenable to surgery.

IN ITS HOSPITALS, THE CITY OF HOPE
places its specialized skills at the disposal of
patients who cannot take advantage of medical
resources in their own communities.

IN ITS RESEARCH INSTITUTE, original in-
quiry into the cause and cure of catastrophic
diseases is conducted by a full staff of research
specialists and technicians of the highest cali-
ber. The experimentation carried on in these
laboratories seeks to forestall the mass fatali-
ties involved in these illnesses.
IN ITS DOCTOR TRAINING FACILITIES,
medical men from various parts of the country,
as well as• abroad, are given the opportunity to
study the care and treatment of major diseases.
